Time for some Eva clapping:

theultimategamer95 • 10 months ago

What an ending, they f**king nailed it. Way better than the OG actually imo.

Remember how I didn't actually like the first season of this remake much due to how things were changed and felt really rushed to me, but the second season kinda fixed that tbh. Yes, it still skipped stuff, and yes, the blue knight's identity was super obvious this time around, but everything else was just... better imo. For the second season at least, solid 8/10 from me. Cheers for everything :)

vovan1 • 10 months ago

pretty ok for an old retro show, will go with 6/10

KiboE • 10 months ago

A “classic ending” to a “classic series” so I’m happy. My only beef is Pie. I get the reason behind his actions, but the fact he didn’t get some form of karma for stabbing Aoyama/Deep Blue and/or didn’t even show/express some form of “apology” is annoying.

Especially since Ichigo went through the trouble of healing his kind’s freak’n ENTIRE PLANET. It’s like he was “rewarded” for his actions.

theultimategamer95 • 10 months ago

F*** Pie, only truly unlikable character tbh.

Ian Nava H • 10 months ago

they even cut his relationship with lettuce

Satoshi Ookami • 10 months ago

Nobody likes Pie after all.

And the final ep of Tokyo Mew Mew New S2 has ended.
Source: M a n g a.
Genre: Fantasy romance, sci-fi, (maho-shoujo/magical girl).
Studio: Collaborated by both Yumeta Company and Graphinica.
(Yumeta Company is known for Akkun to Kanojo (My Sweet Tyrant), Kiniro no Corda: Primo Passo, and Neo Angelique Abyss. Graphica is known for Juni Taisen: Zodiac War, Wonder Momo, and both Hello World + Another World movies.
Also these 2 studios did collaborations before with other works such as Cue, Re:Stage! Dream Days♪, and Records of Ragnarok S2, along with a few more.)

Personal thoughts:
For season 2 compared to it's source, original anime, and S1 of this reboot there is some things to point out.
In S1 it did seem rushed but it covered half of it's manga source which was the longest part was the introductions (Which it took most of the season to do it,) and a major confrontation with the villain's and the giant moth. Which that was good on some parts since OG anime did dragged that out a bit where S1 got to the point less eps with most change was Mint using a magical girl usage of petrifying the damage where's OG anime it was just Ichigo every ep doing it. Whiles in the reboot of both S1 + S2 all the girls got to the magical girl thing (Which I like ^^.)

Stay tune for part 2

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 10 months ago

Part 2.
In S2 there was now focus on each characters development and wholesomeness with even brought into light the Lettuce love confession too Shirogane (^^ , T^T) whiles it also focus on the final parts of bringing into light Blue Knight/Deep Blue where's it dragged out quite a bit in OG anime + was more mystery to it whiles the reboot was pretty obvious.

Personal perspective:
This was a good reboot but some what disappointing on I'd prefer the darker aspects in the OG series but I liked on how this turn out in a better way with hardly any filler and a cute not too dark ending that betrayed in the OG had.
Also some content was cut and change from original source which is always not cool and upsetting when the original info was post to stay true to the source material.

S2's OP and OST was really good but I also prefer S1 over S2 while S2 ED is way better than S1's ED.

All the animation to cgi and visuals were shiny and fresh that gave it a good pass ^^.

Rating 7/10

Paradise SLU • 10 months ago

Beautiful ending, really heartwarming fantastic characters 7.6, it was good.

AnimeFan90 • 10 months ago

Am I the only one here who felt sad and sympathy about Deep Blue's death despite of everything he had done? I mean the manga's and this (even more so than the manga's) versions of Deep Blue was much more of a tragic villain who genuinely wanted to make the world better for his people, unlike the 2002's anime version who was pure evil and wanted to destroy the world; this version was a perfect example of 'Alas, Poor Villain' and also died as a good person... Rest In Peace, Deep Blue!! Hoped that someday you will be reincarnated as a healthy human with happy life on Earth with no memories of your tragic past life...💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Yolotini789 • 10 months ago

This whole thing sucked. Just go watch the original it's leagues better

Satoshi Ookami • 10 months ago

In other words you don't like how manga was written.

霜降 Quon🍓 • 10 months ago

I wasn't expecting anything different from the ending but it feels kinda bs that Ichigo gets to use the "power of love and friendship" to heal the aliens' planet. Deep Blue had a point, there was literally no way of helping unless he used the mew aqua but that implies he had to die so he opened a portal instead. But because he was made a sacrifice Ichigo was able to do that...
Also Kish >>>> Aoyama

Ian Nava H • 10 months ago

So...... the Tokyo Mew Mew lost their powers? or they still have them?

PicHor • 10 months ago

might have lost their powers, but they are still somewhere animals inside

Lucyw18 • 10 months ago

pretty nice all happy but it didn't leave s much of a impact as the original aain that might be because i knew somewhat to expect but still i pretty good

Felix Nascimento • 10 months ago

These ancient earthling are shameless. When earth was going through the climatic events in the past, they choose to flee. Now millions of years later they come and say that the earth is theirs. Humans are probably descendants of the few of them that choose to remain on earth than flee.

PicHor • 10 months ago

using the originial op just hit the spot. glad they cut the 3-ways-corner lovestory story.

My face has swollen coz this show made me facepalm dozens of times.

So I'll just rank the girls in terms of taste:

1. Pudding - A good dessert. I like it, it's sweet.
2. Mint - Whether it's a candy or toothpaste, I like its flavor.
3. Lettuce - I like it in salads and sandwiches. But its actually the dressing that makes it taste good.
4. Zakuro (Pomegranate) - This fruit is not native in our country. I tasted it before and it's ok.
5. Ichigo - I'm ok if it's a jam or a donut filling, but other than that, I'm not a fan of strawberries.

Now if I rank them in terms of their animal counterparts:

1. Ichigo - I wuv cats. They're ssssssss'cute!
2. Zakuro - Be it in a pack or lone... wolves are badasses.
3. Lettuce - Finless porpoise... I wanna ride it.
4. Mint - Blue Lorikeet. Looks cute. I wanna pet it.
5. Pudding - Monkeys are uncute.

This show is a 6/10
Best girl: Mint
Most punchable face: Kish

Goodbye tokyo mew mew once again, i love this girls :c

I liked this remake a lot, good animation, songs, they did some things better than the original anime, and other....not so good, but its still a very good version.

The ending.....well...i went to see the last episode of the original and the last chapters of the manga, and this ending was not like the manga, and was VERY different, heck, the original ending was more like in the manga XD its not exactly bad, but makes you hate pie more than necesary XD

In the end everyone is happy so im happy too :3

Ian Nava H • 10 months ago

Me: So ..... exactly how...... everything.... ?
Author: MEW AQUA DROPS! SHUT UP! TAKE THE HAPPY ENDING AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!!!

If anything, this means the aliens should have looked for the Mew Aqua in the first place, to save their planet and leave Earth alone.
It would have saved everyone LOTS of trouble

Alecavalleri ♀️ • 10 months ago

I'm pretty sure in the old anime they also were searching for it because they knew of its power

Melfina Rose • 10 months ago

That was amazingly underwhelming at no point did you feel like there were any stakes or anything was really at risk and far too neatly tied up but it was nice to hear the original intro again.

Ian Nava H • 10 months ago

more or less but it was nice.
i kinda feel even more stakes at sky precure, which is almost slice-of-life with superhero hijinks, but it was enjoyable.
Not on the levels of my favorite "slice-of-life-ish superhero shows" like Kiramager, Zenkaiger or DonBrothers* but more or less

lady vivi ★ • 10 months ago

Except for the first half feeling a bit rushed, the best compliment I can give this remake is that it absolutely justifies its existence! Mew Mew Power!!

FurikakeGohan • 8 months ago

LoL that look Aoyma gave when Kish asked for her hand like srl u gonna fall for it... yep you did xD

Christian Appel • 9 months ago

Nice reboot but I still think that Kish is a better match for Ichigo than Aoyama and why does she call him that until the end?

I mean, this is his last name and they are supposed to be an official couple. Why not using his first name Masaya? Isn´t that more normal?

This is why I don´t like their relationship at all.

But it doesn´t matter, because Mint x Zakuro will always be my number one couple and they are only a side (yuri) one.

I wish they would show them more often together alone - and Miwa x Moe - but it´s about Ichigo and her harem, because she is the main girl.

Let´s see which anime will get a reboot next.

Daniel Blaize • 9 months ago

ok but why did i get emotional when she said we'll serve justice together

Aaliya • 10 months ago

Loved this ending. I love that Pie and Lettuce are still talking and I definitely loved that Tart comes over to Pudding's house form time to time. Super cute. The OG will always be better but this was still such a treat. super happy we all got to experience this classic get remade.

FaithfulAizen • 10 months ago

Loved it! Hopefully they turn A la mode into an anime and more Ore as well lol

Alecavalleri ♀️ • 10 months ago

Ok, I had to check the manga ending because all that talk between Ichigo and Deep Blue sounded very strange, anticlimatic and out of place. Guess what? I was completely right and I wish very much they hadn't done it, I'm starting to get really fed up with all this "talk no jutsu" way to end conflicts, you can't always solve everyting with good intentions and nice feelings alone. Not to mention they made Pie the villain of the situation out of the blue and then have him act like nothing happened not even five minutes later, let alone his correspondence with Lettuce whey they talked maybe three times in the whole series...

Ian Nava H • 10 months ago

Is kinda sad and funny they have a dialogue between Lettuce / Bridget and Pie (even have each other exchange letters about how they are doing), considering this is probably the first time they talk in the entire anime besides generic hero and villain banter.
Ironic, considering the type of relationship they had in the original anime / manga and how close they were then.
Oh well. That's cut content for you

ALSO, Zoe's / Ichigo's freinds from before the Mew Project interacted with the other main characters in the original anime / manga? because I am pretty sure this is the first time they interacted with the other Tokyo Mew Mew

Peasful • 10 months ago

OMG THE OG OP! Brought a smile to my face.

Satoshi Ookami • 10 months ago

Yep, Pie's 'legendary' scene.
That's why nobody likes him.

Awww, the sweetest 'Gohoushi suru nyan~' ever.

Yea, no matter how much you know what happens, it's just the ending this anime deserves.
It's just pure beauty.
And it makes you cry every time...

And ofc, the best boi is back as well!

Purin's love is the most adorable thing ever.
She and Tar-Tar are just the sweetest :D

This anime brought me so much sweet nostalgia.
It will always have a special place in my heart.
Thanks for returning after all these years, TMM.

IStandAlone Roronoa Zoro • 10 months ago

Wow, I am so happy for this beautiful happy ending and because the original song played when I needed it! I feel a bit down for Aoyama that he had to go abroad to study bcs a distance relationship is always painful! But I am sure things will work out in these types of anime! I am also glad the girls decided to continue being Mew Mew waitresses, even if they are not fighting! As for Kish and the other aliens, they got their own happy ending! Overall, I didn't hate this anime at all! It was boring in some places, but I loved its premise and how it still stuck to the scenario at most! But what I really loved the most was that Ichigo and Aoyama still dedicated themselves to saving Earth and the Alien planet at the very end! And the others decided to pursue goals close and personal that shows how much of an impact their life as Mew Mew Girls had on them! Absolutely beautiful! :)

Overall Score: 8/10! Sayonara, Tokyo Mew Mew! :)
